Just packing the suitcases for our forthcoming trip to India and Nepal. We are taking part in two Rotary projects. In India we will take part in the Polio Immunisation programme and then will travel to Nepal to visit the school that Orpington Crofton Rotary Club supports. All children under the age of 5 are immunised annually until they are five years old.Unfortunately some new cases have just appeared in syria which was free from polio before the war. The good news is that in January 2014 it was announced that there have been no new cases of polio in India for 3 years.
