Rotary Clubs in Bromley, Lewisham and Bexley were out in force  today volunteering on check points in support of the St Christopher’s Hospice. Representing Rotary in our area, I was walking with a small group of Rotarians from local Clubs, the Mayor of Lewisham , and the Deputy Mayor of Bromley. What a really lovely bunch of students at my Artvango workshop in April. They were creative and worked really hard, producing an interesting range of art textile and mixed media pieces, including a  re-vamped beautiful  bag, keepsake necklace and sari re worked stole. A really fun day. Every 2 weeks I am lucky enough to visit my mum in Devon. Such a wonderful view from the Care Home  window at Nazareth house. An extra   bonus  too is that  I  can always can find time  for a wander on the beach. This time I returned with a   simple neck piece created from beach finds on a previous visit.
